Mfg provides only one in the package forcing the consumer to go out to buy a second charger.The Amazon supplier send the charger within a day or so. Very fast delivery and a professional company.

Base charger does what it supposed to do – keep the wonderful Sonicare brush charged. The pity is that Philips sells the Sonicare brushes in pairs and it is difficult to locate an extra charging base for a family member who does not share the same bathroom or residence – such as those who travel or are away at college. Thanks to an Amazon supplier who was independent of Philips, I was able to buy an extra charger at a reasonable price.

We bought this for our sister-in-law for her visit after buying them the toothbrush from Costco. It works great with the model she has and I also found that it works with other models of sonicare toothbrush too. Of cource the way it is designed the newer toothbrush end is small enough to fit into the charger, however the old toothbrush handle will only fit into the new one. So in short this is one of those corporate shams that make you buy things that are not universal and make money off of you for every nut and bolt. I guess not everyone is like Nokia who believes in single universal chargers.

I bought two (2) the Sonicare toothbrushes and gave one to my fiance. In order for her to charge it, I bought this charger. Just what I needed. Highly recommend this product.
